Want an e-mail with May 15th 2008 Community Earth is cleaning house and taking on the launch of a new global project this month - the Social Entrepreneur Foundation (SEF) ! http://www.communityearth.org/SEF The local project No Junk Mail Please has out lived its purpose. Nobody in Montreal is taking up the project but more importantly we have just learnt of a Canada wide initiative that should help people deal with their junk mail. http://reddotcampaign.ca The low turnout last winter killed the local project BUZZ DOCS after just two screenings. I have decided to continue from home this summer, on a monthly basis, for the public, outdoors with no publicity except for a mention in these updates and with no fees (but donations are always welcome :). This month we will present La Belle Vert (in French) & Zietgiest (In English) on the 30th & 31st. For more info and too reserve call Brigitte or Ivan at 1-450-501-2422. The global project Eco-Living Questionaire has been the most successful global project to date and we will continue with it. However, since talented programers have yet to volunteer for Community Earth, I have finally decided to publish the submitted questionnaires thus far in a raw webform format, which is not very aesthetic but at least the responses are now available for browsing. There are a few new links recently added to our World Links page however we find our list very limited. If you think there are websites missing for a better world please send us your suggestions and we will post them. The project Public Resourcary is still going but is not useful out in the countryside where I live and so I have stopped updating the lists. Is there not someone among you who is willing to start one in any city? Maybe you would like to make some changes? Its your world too! Have a great month,
P.S.: Eco-copiea was our family project for the last 3 years. The land is now for sale but we still make and sell bees wax candles.
