Eco-Living Questionaire
Description: A questionnaire and database that the general public can fill out and then use in order to connect like minded or complementary persons with the goal of starting and/or joining eco-communities ie. eco-hamlets, eco-villages, intentional communities, co-operatives etc... .
I have begun to publish the submitted questionaires however because talented programers have yet to volunteer for Community Earth, the information is in a basic web form format, which is not very aesthetic but at least it is available. The contact information is only available upon special request by persons whom have already filled out the questionnaire. Contact ecoliving@communityearth.org with such requests.
The goal of this project is to help stimulate the growth of eco-communities throughout the world. If you know anyone that is eco-conscious and is looking to live in a community and has not yet filled this questionnaire out please let them know about it today.
The questionnaire has 51 questions. It is currently available in French and English ; use the language bar located at the top right hand corner of this page to change the language. At this time there is only two ways to do searches for people and update your answers, either by request over the phone or via e-mail. Eventually we will have an on-line database for the questionnaire where people will be able to update their own information and conduct searches.
You can access the questionnaire in a number of ways:
1. Fill out the questionnaire on-line;
2. Print the questionnaire. For best results when printing change your "page setup" options to 1/2 inch (0.5) margins and take out all footers and headers;
3. Pick up a questionnaire from the nearest Community Earth Office;
4. Contact us and ask us to mail you a questionnaire.
With the exception of the on-line questionnaire participants will need to mail or e-mail their responses back to us.
The project Eco-living questionnaire is searching for volunteers to take on the following tasks.
- Translation of the questionnaire into other languages.
- Programming skills using an open source platform to develop a searchable internet version of the questionnaire database.
- More Publicity, tell friends and organizations that may be interested.
- Updating the database when new participants send us back questionnaires.
