Community Earth Terminology

Forum - a place within the Voting Sphere where members can discuss a problem or proposal and vote on the outcome of that discussion. Each forum is unique.
Global - reffering to the international arena of Community Earth events, where events happen on a scale that includes the world, all offices in all countries - i.e. global forum, global vote, global projects.
Local - reffering to the community arena of Community Earth events, where events happen on a relatively small area of the world, one or a few offices combined that share an event - i.e. local forum, local vote, local projects.
Planned Prevalence (or planvalence) - the decision and application behind how items can be built to be useful and long lasting. Items built in such a manner should therefore be of superior quality, favour the ecology, integrate waste exchanges and recycling. Planned prevalence is the opposite of planned obsolescense which creates throw-away goods.
Procedures - the inner structure of the Community Earth Organization that should be carried out by all involved. The procedures are needed to keep the organization running smoothly. Each procedure has an explanation for its existence and can be updated, deleted or added using the Voting Sphere. Procedures can also be reffered to as protocols or regulations.
The Compioptionist - a compiler of options; a Community Earth member who is volunteering their minimum hours by analysing a forum in the Voting Sphere and compiling possible voting choices with a description of each in the form of an Issue Report.
Issue Report - the document that a Compioptionist edits and publishes in the forum, which includes all the possible voting choices and the description of each to be voted upon.
Participation Hours - These are the volunteer hours offered by members of Community Earth to the organization, projects and other members. Participation hours recieved and given are reset to 0 each new timetable period.
Resourcary - a collection of sharable goods; also a place (ie. cyberspace), warehouse and/or the institution in charge of such a collection where goods held in common can be borrowed.
Sharable - that which can be shared.
Service Co-operative Agent - a Community Earth member who is volunteering their minimum hours for the Service Co-operative department; receiving and dealing with requests for services by members and project managers alike and arranging meetings for both parties.
Service Demander - any Community Earth project or member who is requesting or receiving the participation hours of another member who thereby becomes a Service Provider.
Service Provider - any Community Earth member who is available and/or volunteering their time to provide their skills to a Community Earth project or another member who thereby becomes a Service Demander.
Socially Responsible Goods - goods that are meant to last, not break down, are ergonomically sound and safe with human needs and environmental needs accounted for.
Timetable Period - a period of time consisting of exactly 28 days (4 weeks - sometimes referred to as a month), that members use to schedule and complete their minimum hours within.
