Resourcary Questions...

How do broken things get repaired?
The items are repaired by Community Earth volunteers who tackle the "goods to be fixed list" at their convenience. Donations help pay for any materials needed for repairing or replacing missing or broken parts.

Why do the items in the Resourcary need to be donated and why do they become the property of Community Earth?
There are many reasons. Firstly, if any goods are late, become damaged, or claimed stolen the persons who donated the goods cannot go after Community Earth Organization. Secondly, this gives the authority to Community Earth to keep track of any abusers and bar them from ever using the Resourcary again which would be very difficult to do if there was no membership or property being inventoried. Thirdly, it is easier and more efficient to organize/update, keep inventories, repair the items and make all the reservations when all the goods belong to one entitiy. If it was not done in this centralized way each individual would be responsible for these tasks.

Keep in mind that the Resourcary exists to help share goods and that even though goods become the property of Community Earth those goods will always be available to the CEO members and to the paying users.
