My Agenda Template Notes

Go to MY AGENDA TEMPLATE and print directly from the web. You can also copy it to your desktop. If you would like to translate or modify the agenda go to view source and resave on your desktop as an .html file. A working knowledge of html would probably be needed to do any major modifications.

I searched years and tried many methods until I finally created one that worked for me. I tend to juggle many projects at once and without this tool I would definetly loose track. It may work for you too or then it may not, you will have to be the judge of that and modify its use as you see fit. Here is how I use it...

I print out 52 of these pages near the end of each year, on 3 holed paper so that it already fits nicely into a binder. I then proceed with a reference from another calendar, to mark each week and month and year and the days of the month are added just below the names of the days.

If you consider to be a savvy programmer I challenge you to automate this sole nuissance. Also while your at it come up with a way that before a person opens the page they can decide on the language and it loads/replaces the right language without having to create x amount of webpages (just the one) ... it must exist but I am a neophyte when it comes to anything more than html. Don't forget to tell me about it!

Apart from that initial labour per year I find this system to be the most useful and flexible for me. I write a brief description of the thing to do (ttd) in the bottom half beside a letter or symbol. I then place that letter or symbol in a time slot above for that week. If the ttd takes longer than that hour I draw an arrow down to the point of time where it is no longer needed. When a task is done I check the letter in the upper half and strike a line through the description in the lower half of the page. If a task is not complete I put an X over the letter in the upper half and immediately rescheduale. There is one habit you must get used to however ... to check your agenda on a regular basis, I try at least once a day if possible and carry it with me on certain occasions.

In the past I have used a pen but I am starting to use pencil so I can erase it all at the end of the year (that only works in theory so far).

Go to MY AGENDA TEMPLATE.

P.S. If there are any free resources you would like to publish we can host them on the Community Earth site and link them through our "world links" page under "free resources".
